Start for Free: Timelish Now Offers a Free Plan for Service Businesses

You should not need a credit card just to find out whether Timelish fits how you run your business.

Until now, getting a fully branded booking page, a connected calendar, and automated client emails meant starting on a paid plan. That made sense when we were focused on teams already sure they wanted every feature on day one. It was a bigger ask than it needed to be for stylists, coaches, consultants, and solo practitioners who want to try the basics first and grow into payments and advanced tools later.

Today we are introducing a Free plan - a real starting tier, not a stripped-down trial that disappears after two weeks. Create an account, confirm your email, choose Free at checkout, and you can set up your workspace and start taking bookings without paying anything upfront.


What You Get on Free

The Free plan is built around what most small service businesses need on day one: a professional way to be booked online, a calendar that stays in sync, and notifications that keep clients informed.

On Free, you can:

  • Run your booking flow with up to 15 appointments per billing cycle - enough to launch, test your setup, or serve a focused client base while you get comfortable with Timelish.

  • Offer one bookable service from your booking page (for example, a single appointment type or package you want to promote first).

  • Publish up to 10 pages on your site - home, about, services, policies, and other content that helps clients book with confidence.

  • Use your branding on your public booking experience: logo, colors, and the look and feel that match your business.

  • Sync your calendar with Google Calendar, Outlook, and CalDAV so new bookings respect your real availability.

  • Send email notifications for confirmations, reminders, and updates through Timelish’s built-in notification apps.

  • Send text message notifications when you add SMS credits to your account (pay as you go, no subscription required for credits themselves).

You get the same install wizard, the same admin dashboard, and the same booking experience your clients would see on Pro — with clear limits that keep the Free tier focused on getting started, not on running a full multi-service operation with payments and financial reporting from day one.


When Pro Makes Sense

Free is the right place to start. Pro is for when you are ready to remove limits and turn Timelish into your full operating system.

Upgrade to Pro when you need:

  • Unlimited appointments and unlimited bookable services

  • Unlimited pages on your site

  • Online payments through PayPal, Square, and Stripe - deposits, checkout, and the payment workflows that tie into your calendar

  • A custom domain so clients book on your own URL, not only on a Timelish subdomain

  • 100 SMS credits included every month, on top of optional top-ups

  • Financial tools - overview, payment history, in-person payment sync, and exports for your bookkeeper

  • Discounts and gift cards to run promotions and prepaid packages

  • Waitlist, custom scripts, and other Pro-only apps and integrations in the app store

You can upgrade anytime from Settings → Brand → General via the Polar customer portal. Your existing bookings, clients, and configuration stay in place; you are unlocking capacity and features, not starting over.


How to Get Started

Getting on the Free plan takes a few minutes:

  1. Create your Timelish account and verify your email.

  2. At checkout, select the Free plan ($0).

  3. Complete the setup wizard - business details, branding, your first service, schedule, and optional integrations.

  4. Share your booking link and take your first appointment.

If you are already on Timelish and on a legacy setup, open billing in your dashboard to see Free and Pro side by side and choose what fits today. You can stay on Free as long as you want; upgrade only when your business outgrows the limits.


Why We Did This

Timelish exists so booking, communication, and (when you are ready) payments live in one place instead of three apps that never quite agree with each other.

A Free plan lowers the barrier to that first “aha” moment: a client books online, your calendar updates, and they get a confirmation without you touching a spreadsheet. We would rather earn your trust with a product you use every week than ask for payment before you have seen it work in your real schedule.

We are still investing in Pro - payments, financials, SMS bundles, and deeper integrations, which are where growing businesses get the most leverage. Free and Pro are two steps on the same path, not two different products.
